#15 of 30

brainstorming some portraits with animals
...studies for paintings...
My focus is really becoming attention to
color, but also line.  Because I love to draw
I'm always trying to figure out how to incorporate
the line into the oil painting.  Which probably
explains the ruff brush strokes.  As I finish up
this study and start the color I'll be looking
for ways to do that!

#12 of 30 in 30..hands!

I bought 2 dozen canvases today!  They were
so cheap, 11$ for 8 canvases!  They really are
cheaply made.  There are little cuts here and there
in the canvas which is good to know!  I'll stick
with the quality panels I usually use once I get
these 30 done!  Doing this is such good practice!

#11 30 in 30 continued...

Because I compare the colors to the values
when I paint it, I redid this so I could try and
get them closer to what they should be.  A
secret problem I always have and have always
had is making my female portraits look like a man!
I have no idea why I do this!

#10 of the 30 in 30 challenge continued

I'm actually painting these studies on big canvases!
It's kind of interesting!
Once I get the 30 done and or start painting serious
enough to sell paintings then I'll only post the studies
here and I'll post the ones for sale on the other.

This Is Interesting
