Chief Timothy

My daughter and I camped at Chief Timothy, an Island
in the middle of the Snake River.  Since I grew up
in this area it seems like I should learn how to paint it!  It
was no easy task figuring out how to make the colors of the
dry hillsides but I feel like I'm getting close.  This was
in October, very dry but quiet and beautiful!  We were
sitting at our campfire  and noticed a skunk wandering
near grazing, then out came a deer as we watched
something skittered through the bushes looking like
some sort of cat!  (and it probably was just a cat!!)
We loved it and went back again!
